We believe that the telephony as we know it today will die.
The same way as you send and receive an email, or access some website, you can make and receive calls from internet too, for free, with any person or company connected to the internet, anywhere around the world.
To make this possible, it's necessary an open network, that handle the routing from the source to its destination.
The packages, on this state, don't transit from and ISP to another, but they're directly forwarded to its final destination. This structure it's called "Peering".
There are two great benefits of the voice peering.
- The cost factor. The voice peering it's free of charge.
- The quality of sound, in calls by voice peering, its high quality. This doesn't happen with other platforms, specially, when the signal its routed through switchs from different providers, billing...
With voice peering, the packages have a minimum of overhead, and frequently, the intercontinental calls seems like local calls.
- What it is, and how it works?
When a user connect and type any SipCode, our servers check the main free bases of interconnection on internet, like SipBroker, ITAD, Enum, between others, with their millions of users around the world, and forward the call.
Let's see a practical example: The voip number of your friend or partner, user of Gizmo5 is 17473620246.
To make this call possible, between different providers, that accept external connections, the format to be sent should be: 17473620246@proxy01.sipphone.com.
To make possible to dial this address, is necessary, that the domain part of it "@proxy01.sipphone.com", be translated in a numeric prefix.
Therefore, the numeric representation to access the Gizmo5 platform, constant of a global database, that all the participants have access, is: *747 (prefix referent to the global access code).
Then, the Sip Code of your friend will be: *747-17473620246.Once you connect to our servers, you can make and receive calls to any user with a sip code. you can call using an ATA, IP Phone, or any of our voice Gateways distributed around the world. It's possible too, to use your SipCode, to make and receive calls from MSN, GTalk, and others.
The Enum format, it's free too in our network, and practically all the Enum bases, are checked by our servers.
And through the global access numbers of SipCode, the contact call to any of the numbers provided by SipCode and when asked by the extension, will type the desired extension.
Example: considering the unique nacional access number in Brazil (4004-0435), let's say that your SipCode Extension it's 100 (example of the extension that represents the support of SipCode) - after the message asking for the extension, you just type 100, and the call will be established.
